This shirt is made from a vintage tablecloth, circa 1920s-1940s. The original was decorated with drawnwork, a needlework technique in which threads are removed from the fabric and the remaining threads are bound together in a geometric pattern. The shirt preserves the original crocheted hem, with a picot detail, along the edge. Hand-mending throughout.
